Accessing LMS using a Custom Domain

AlphaLearn LMS can be assessed using your custom domain. e.g.: lms.mycompany.com. This is only recommended for advanced users as it requires making changes to your Domain’s DNS records.

  1. First you need a registered domain name. If you don’t have one, you can purchase from a registrar like GoDaddy, BigRock, etc.
  2. As an Administrator, click on Customize -> Domain on the navigation bar.
  3. Then add a desired Custom Domain under Custom Domain Settings and click Update.
  4. Next, you need to login to your domain registrar’s website and under DNS Management, follow your registrar’s instructions to create a CNAME Record for your custom domain to point to app.alphalearn.com

Note:

  1. A change to a DNS record can take up to 24 hours to propagate.
  2. When the custom domain feature is activated, access to the Learning Management System (LMS) will persist through the original subdomain (e.g., mycompany.alphalearn.com) as well.
