The Unique ID Auto Increment feature automatically generates a sequential unique ID for each new user added to the LMS – eliminating the need to assign IDs manually.
Important: This feature can only be enabled if no user has already been assigned a unique ID manually. Once enabled, it cannot be disabled.
Enable Unique ID Auto Increment
- Go to Settings → Manage Features.
- Scroll to the Unique ID Auto Increment section.
- Enter an optional Prefix (e.g.
EMP). - Enter a starting number in the Starting from field (e.g.
10001). The last digit must be between 1 and 9 – not 0. - Click Save.
Verify the Feature is Active
- Go to Users → View Users.
- Check the Unique ID column to confirm IDs are being auto-generated for users.
