AlphaLearn LMS has five user roles, each with a different level of access and responsibility.
Administrator
The Administrator has full access to all LMS settings, features, and resources. There can only be one Administrator per LMS account, created at the time of signing up.
Manager
A Manager has broad access to the LMS – similar to an Administrator – but cannot access Customization, Settings, or Integrations. Permissions can be further restricted per individual. See Set Permissions for Manager Role.
Reporting
A Reporting user has read-only access to all course reports. This role is suited for stakeholders who need visibility into training data without managing courses or users.
Trainer
A Trainer can manage the courses they are assigned to – including course material, enrolled Trainees, forums, queries, announcements, and assignment evaluations. Permissions can be configured per Trainer. See Set Permissions for Trainer Role.
Trainee
Trainees are the learners in the LMS. They can be enrolled in courses, Learning Objects, Learning Paths, webinars, meetings, and classroom sessions. Trainees can submit assignments, take exams, earn certificates, raise queries, and participate in course forums.
