Add a Certificate to a Course

Course certificates are uploaded as a DOCX template and can be issued automatically on completion. Certificates can include a QR code for authenticity verification.

Add a Certificate to an Existing Course

  1. Go to CoursesView Courses and click the Settings icon next to the relevant course.
  2. Click View DetailsEdit and scroll down to expand the Certification section.
  3. Next to the Certificate field, click Browse to upload your certificate template in DOCX format. You can also click Download Sample Certificate to use the provided template.
  4. Optionally, set a Certificate Validity Duration from the dropdown.
  5. If validity is set, specify the number of days before expiry to send Trainees a reminder email.
  6. Click Submit.

Add a Certificate While Creating a New Course

  1. Go to CoursesAdd Course and fill in the required course details.
  2. Scroll down to expand the Certification section and follow steps 3–6 above.

Add a QR Code for Verification

Include the variable QRCODE in the certificate DOCX template. When the certificate is issued, the QR code can be scanned to verify its authenticity.

Preview the Certificate

  1. Go to CoursesView Courses and click the Settings icon next to the relevant course.
  2. Click View DetailsEdit and expand the Certification section.
  3. Click Preview to see a sample of the certificate.

Verify a Certificate

Scan the QR code on the certificate to open the verification page, where you can view the certificate details and confirm its validity.

Tip: To issue certificates automatically on course completion, upload the template first, then go to View DetailsEdit and enable Issue Certificate on Course Completion. See Issue Certificate Automatically for details.
