Evaluate Subjective Questions in a Quiz

This guide explains how Trainers can evaluate Subjective Questions submitted in a Mastery Quiz.


Overview

Subjective Questions require manual evaluation and are supported only in Mastery quizzes.

💡 Info: If the setting Notify Trainer When Evaluation is Pending is enabled in the Quiz settings, Trainers will receive an email notification when a Quiz is submitted for evaluation.

Access Quiz Evaluation

  • Go to Evaluation → Quiz Evaluation.
  • Select the relevant Course to view its quizzes.
  • Each Quiz displays the number of Evaluated and Pending submissions.

Evaluate a Submission

  • Click the Pending count of a Quiz.
  • Click Evaluate against a Trainee’s attempt.
  • Open the Subjective Answers tab to review responses and attachments.
  • Assign marks, provide feedback, and click Submit for each answer.
  • After evaluating all answers, click Submit Evaluation to finalize the result.
✔ The Trainee receives a notification once the evaluation is completed.


Quiz Attempts

  • If multiple attempts are allowed, Trainees can re-attempt the Quiz after failing.
  • Each attempt requiring evaluation appears separately in the Quiz Evaluation section.

Important Notes

  • Subjective Questions are available only in Mastery quizzes.
  • Quiz results are finalized only after the Trainer submits the evaluation.
  • Trainees can view their MCQ results immediately after submission. Results for Subjective Questions remain pending until evaluation is completed.
