Integrate with Zoho People

Automatically provision and update trainee accounts in your LMS directly from Zoho People. When employees are added, updated, or deactivated in your HRMS, those changes reflect in the LMS – eliminating manual user management and keeping your training roster in sync with HR records.


Step 1

Connect and Authorize Zoho People

  1. Log in to LMS as Admin.
  2. Navigate to Integrations → Zoho People.
  3. Click Connect and authorize with your Zoho account.
  4. Once authorized, the integration status changes to Connected.

Step 2

Configure Field Mapping

  1. Open the Field Mapping tab.
  2. Map Zoho People fields to their corresponding LMS fields.
  3. The following LMS fields are mandatory:

    • fname – First Name
    • lname – Last Name
    • email – Email
    • any other field – Any other field
  4. Click Save Mapping.

Step 3

Run Sync

  1. Go to the Full Sync tab.
  2. Click Sync Now:

    • The first run performs a Full Sync.
    • Subsequent manual Sync Now operations perform a delta/manual sync based on the last successful modified time.
  3. Review sync metrics: Fetched, Processed, Created, Updated, Failed.
  4. Check the error list for any failed rows.
  5. Daily automated sync will be triggered by the system scheduler.
  6. An account creation email will be sent to the user only if the checkbox Send account creation email to new users added via sync is checked.

Zoho People Sync

Common Troubleshooting

  • User not updated: Check sync summary errors for that email address.
  • Department/designation duplicates: Compare source text for hidden or trailing spaces.
  • Status not updated: Verify the user was matched as existing and the row did not fail or roll back.
